I Am Oblivion

The sky is blue, the grass is green
The nicest view you've ever seen
With lakes and mountains' rivers flow
Up from the high entrenched in snow
And down the spark'ling brooks so sweet
With sheep near by, you hear them bleat
The water flows into a stream
And never-ending does not seem
To last for all eternity
We ride the wave of certainty
We ride them to oblivion.
We stand and watch the mountain range
And hope that we will see a change
In thought, the pattern is not whole
but underground quite like the mole
The hope is blind the dream not seen
And we can't tell just what we mean
Or who we are or who we will
The light or lives of those we kill
Turn out the light, turn out our dream
But it is not just what it seems
For life can end but we will go
Back to the land entrenched in snow.
